Mackenzie Seasons, Clinical Psychologist in Supervised Practice (she/her)
I am a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Guelph. I recently completed my clinical residency at SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, where I built on my experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I have previously worked at the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph, the Wellington Catholic District School Board, Surrey Place, and in private practice.
I recognize the courage that clients show in noticing challenges and seeking help, and I provide treatment for those who are struggling with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, including anxiety and depression, emotion dysregulation, and behavioural challenges, as well as relational difficulties and life transitions. I take an integrative and collaborative approach to services, and I believe strongly in building a trusting relationship with children, youth, and their families. In addition to providing therapy, I am also experienced in providing comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments to children and youth.
Outside of work you might find me reading a good book, going for a run, and spending time with friends, family, and my cat, Marvin.
